I have used the following colour key throughout the AARs and in this diagrammatic description of the games:

Yellow – Japanese

Blue – US Marines

Purple - No-Man's Land

A slow but steady swarm of the IJA cross the board and claim Hill 100, but balk at taking on the massed forces of the US around Hill 125.
With OBA being largely ineffective for both sides blood was eventually shed around the final OH revealed by the IJA, that of X13.
The Japanese traded MMC with the US and just managed to hold on by the skin of their teeth.

The IJA have a plan to attack to the West (top of ridgeline) and East (bottom of the ridgeline) but the plan starts off poorly with the US Marines launching a simultaneous counter-attack in the West.
By the time that both sides withdraw from the Western battles to lick their many wounds the IJA had managed to take the vital Hill 125
as well as many of the surrounding foxholes due to the lightly opposed Eastern attack (with great thanks to unopposed Air Support).
